Yanet Adere is a pharmacist by training and a NASH Medical Science Liaison at Novo Nordisk.
She studied Public Health and Psychology at the University of Georgia and earned her Doctor of Pharmacy from Howard University in Washington, D.C. Her community involvement in D.C. working with people experiencing homelessness helped fuel her passion for reducing health disparities in underserved communities worldwide.
Her past professional experiences include Medical Affairs strategy and Health Economics and Outcomes Research at pharmaceutical companies such as Pfizer and Novartis. She broadened her knowledge of different health regulatory systems through her experiences at the US and Ethiopian FDA. During her spare time, she is dedicated to empowering the next generation of leaders while increasing minority representation in healthcare and, therefore, serves on the board of Pharmacy Initiative Leaders (PILs). Yani currently lives in Charlotte with her pup, Mango.
