Amy Articolo, DO, FACOG, FACOOG, Dipl of ABOM, graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, and the University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ, and is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Obesity Medicine.
First a practicing obstetrician/gynecologist for over 20 years in clinical practice, she expanded her scope of care to becoming co-owner and medical director of the Salveo Weight Management Center, which focused on the chronic care treatment of the bariatric patient. Her dedication to obesity management and education has led her to become a long-time advisor and consultant for Novo Nordisk, where she is currently the Medical Director for their Non-Alcoholic Steatohepatitis (NASH) program, leading and driving the medical, strategic, scientific, and operational enterprise in the planning and execution of Medical Affairs in NASH. As a board member, Dr. Articolo has also contributed her time and expertise to a number of charitable organizations, including the American Academy of Family Practitioners Foundation, the Franklin Foundation for Innovation, and the Obesity Treatment Foundation. When not working, or traveling for work, Dr. Articolo enjoys spending time with her family-her husband, Glenn, their two daughters, Lauren (18), and Leah (16), and their dogs, Waffles and Raven.
